About Stuart Chard

My love for photography started long before I ever loaded a roll of film. As a kid, I'd play with my dad's old Bakelite Kodak, pretending to capture the world around me. By my teenage years, the pretending stopped, and the real journey began with a Russian-made Zorki 4K in hand, my first SLR and the spark that ignited my obsession. For me, photography isn't about the big, dramatic moments it's about the quiet ones. The way morning light spills through a market stall, the fleeting glance of a stranger, the unscripted stories unfolding in the spaces between.
